Adolescents Trapped in Bad Company and Addiction

Dear sir,

I would like to draw attention to the growing influence of bad company and digital addiction on children and adolescents. Adolescence is a sensitive period when young people experience physical, psychological and social changes. During this time, peer pressure and curiosity can easily lead them towards smoking, drugs and other harmful activities. Bad company may distance them from family and social values and lead to criminal behaviour. Excessive use of mobile phones and online games is another serious concern. Staying awake late at night, seeking popularity on social media and facing cyberbullying can affect their studies, sleep and emotional well-being. Parents should spend quality time with their children, know their friends, monitor device use and create a healthy family environment. Children should be encouraged to read, play outdoors, develop creativity and learn moral values. I urge the relevant authorities to take immediate measures to protect adolescents from these harmful influences. Parents, teachers and local authorities should work together to create a safe, healthy and supportive environment for adolescents flourishing.
